The system carries out peak period determination on the condition of remote vehicle renting; if the period is the peak period, a current electric vehicle renting supply-demand relation is analyzed and whether remote vehicle renting is allowed is determined based on the supply-demand relation; and otherwise, a normal reservation vehicle renting flow is executed. A normal reservation vehicle renting flow is executed on the condition of non-remote vehicle renting. According to the invention, the system and method have the following advantages: remote vehicle renting is limited; a problem that an electric vehicle can not be rented easily because of high flow rate of visitors and the tension of the local vehicle using demand can be solved; and thus the vehicle using demand of local users can be satisfied.
