Abstract

The method is applied to the service cluster comprising load balancing equipment and multiple service processing equipment. The method comprises the steps that through detecting the Java virtual machine JVM running state parameter of the service processing equipment, when the JVM running state parameter reaches a set threshold, the service processing equipment sends a service pause request to the load balancing equipment, wherein the service pause request is used for allowing the load balancing equipment to suspend the sending of a service request to the service processing equipment. Through the invention, a response timeout problem when each of the service processing equipment carries out JVM old garbage collection is avoided, and the overall stability of a system is improved.
