Abstract

The invention provides a water pump power generation system in a pumping station and a control method. The system comprises a plurality of water pump motors, a plurality of water pumping pipes, a four-quadrant converter and a plurality of rotational speed detection units. The four-quadrant converter comprises a phase-shifting transformer, a control unit and a plurality of power units. Each power unit is composed of a rectifier unit and an inverter unit, wherein the rectifier unit and the inverter unit are connected via a DC bus. The control unit comprises a valve control sub-unit and a feedback control sub-unit. The valve control sub-unit starts the valve of a corresponding water pumping pipe when the rotational speed of a corresponding water pump motor, measured by any rotational speed detection unit, is larger than a rotational speed preset value. The feedback control sub-unit drives the rectifier unit to run in the energy feedback mode when the voltage of the DC bus is larger than a voltage preset value. According to the technical scheme of the invention, the four-quadrant converter realizes the drive control of water pump motors and the energy feedback of the water pump motors at the same time. Meanwhile, in combination with the control of a contactor, the energy can be efficiently fed back to a public supply network.
