Abstract

The invention discloses a network transmission scheme based on joint of VLC (Visible Light Communication) and WiFi. The following improvements are made on an existing visible light network transmission scheme: a VLC and wireless local area network joint transmission mode is supported; a wireless communication and VLC switching function is provided; signal transmission is controlled and switched through a wireless local area network technology; and high-speed data transmission is performed through a VLC technology. The network transmission scheme comprises the following steps that: when signal quality of a downlink VLC signal declines or data transmission is interrupted due to movement or shielding and the like of a user location, an uplink transmitting-receiving module feeds back detected signal quality to a downlink transmitting-receiving module, and the downlink transmitting-receiving module can switch a downlink signal transmission mode from a VLC way to a wireless local area network way; and when shielding disappears, the VLC way is switched back to perform downlink transmission. Through adoption of the network transmission scheme, indoor wireless communication can be performed by switching between the wireless local area network technology and the VLC technology, so that the performance of indoor wireless communication can be enhanced greatly.
