Abstract

The invention discloses an interference measurement method and an interference measurement system for a vortex beam. The interference measurement system comprises a vortex beam generating unit, a control unit, a vortex beam modulation unit, a conjugate vertex beam interference unit and an image acquisition unit. The vortex beam generating unit is used for generating a vortex beam. The control unit is used for changing the propagation optical path of the vortex beam. The vortex beam modulation unit is used for modulating the topological charge of the vortex beam. The conjugate vertex beam interference unit is used for splitting one vortex beam to two split vortex beams and converting one split vortex beam to the conjugate vortex beam of the other split vortex beam, and then performing interference on the split vortex beam and the conjugate vortex beam. The image acquisition unit is used for acquiring an interference strength graph of the two conjugate vortex beams and acquiring the order and the symbol of the topological charge of the vortex beam through analyzing the acquired data. The invention provides the simple integer and semi-integer topological charge interference measurement system without an interference influence introduced by a device through an improved M-Z interferometer and a square loop device which carries a vortex phase plate (VPP).
