Abstract

[Problem] To provide a means with which an ion wind can be satisfactorily generated even if a negative-ion / ozone generation device is miniaturized (made portable). [Solution] An ion / ozone wind generation device is provided with a plurality of electrode pairs each having a needle electrode and a counter electrode. The ion / ozone wind generation device is configured such that a difference in electric potential is generated between each of the electrode pairs to generate ions, ozone, and an ion wind as a result of corona discharge. The counter electrode in each of the electrode pairs is formed so as to be planar, and annular or spiral-shaped. The ion / ozone wind generation device is provided with: a main electrode pair, i.e. one of the electrode pairs; and a plurality of secondary electrode pairs, i.e. electrode pairs having the counter electrodes thereof positioned regularly and next to or near each other, along an outer periphery of the counter electrode of the main electrode pair, so as to surround the counter electrode of the main electrode pair. The ion / ozone wind generation device is configured such that normal vectors of planes of all the counter electrodes have substantially the same direction.
