Embodiment 1

[0059] The weight of the smelted and poured steel ingot is 9 tons, the cross section is rectangular, the size is 720×1080×1450mm, and the material is H13 steel. The measured composition is shown in Table 1.

[0062] The ultra-high temperature soft core forging process is performed on the 9-ton H13 steel ingot. The specific steps are as follows:

[0063] The first step is ultra-high temperature demoulding. 3.5 hours after pouring the steel ingot, blow off the protective slag from the riser to release the steel ingot with a liquid core at ultra-high temperature.

[0064] The second step is to close the top of the riser. The spray device is used to continuously act on the riser of the steel ingot for 10 minutes, so that ...

Abstract

Provided is a forging method for ultra-high temperature soft core of a steel ingot, comprising firstly subjecting a cast steel ingot with a liquid core to ultra-high temperature demoulding; then placing same in a temperature-holding car to a uniform temperature and conveying to a forging press, subjecting the steel ingot with the liquid core to high-temperature and pressure-maintaining forging to fully crush dendrites at the solidification end, which forms a large amount of equiaxial crystal structures, eliminates the shrinkage porosity and looseness, and alleviates the dendritic crystal segregation; finally, performing a conventional forging to fully refine the crystalline grains and structures. The above-mentioned method breaks through conventional methods for forging mould cast steel ingots only after full solidification. The ultra-high temperature demoulding of a steel ingot with a liquid core, creates semi-solid state structure with excellent fluidity in the core of the steel ingot and a large temperature difference between the surface and the core, and after combination with a subsequent heavy pressurization and pressure-maintaining method, a forced feeding and pressure solidification can be achieved, which not only solves problems of shrinkage porosities, looseness, segregation etc., in the centre of the steel ingot to improve the metallurgical quality, but also reduces the riser weight and the heating number for forging, and prolongs the mould service life.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of steel forging, in particular to an ultra-high temperature soft core forging method for die-cast steel ingots. Background technique [0002] Large-scale forgings, as the core components of large-scale complete sets of equipment in the fields of metallurgical machinery, petrochemical, transportation, energy and electric power, etc., play an extremely important role in national economic construction, national defense equipment and major scientific devices. Its production capacity and quality level are It is an important symbol to measure a country's independent ability and national strength. Therefore, it is of great significance to improve the internal quality of large forgings and ensure their safety and reliability during operation. [0003] Large forgings are generally forged from large steel ingots. Inside the steel ingot, due to the solidification and shrinkage of the metal, a large number of micro-shrinkage c...
