Problems solved by technology

This sealing method is more reliable than the previous resectoscope equipment. Its disadvantage is that the connection between the inner sheath and the working element, and the connection between the endoscope and the working element are all rigid connections. After repeated use, the contact surface is worn and the sealing performance drop
In addition, the double-core wires 17 are arranged horizontally. During the operation, the double-core wires 17 need to be connected to the power source by bypassing the operating wrist, and the comfort during the operation is not good.

Embodiment Construction

[0025] This embodiment provides a bipolar electrode sealing method, see image 3 , Figure 4 , The bipolar electrode includes an electrode body 11 , a sealing plug 10 , a terminal post 20 and a double-core wire 12 . The electrode main body 11 includes two parallel metal sleeves 2 and 3, a metal straight tube 5 connected to the tail ends of the metal sleeves 2 and 3, and a straight metal tube arranged in the metal straight tube 5. Two wires 6 and 7 with insulating layers, the semi-circular positive electrode 1 whose two ends are respectively connected to the head ends of the metal sleeves 2 and 3, and the electrode fixing card 4 sleeved on the outer surface of the metal straight tube 5 . The axis of the terminal 20 is perpendicular to the direction of the plane formed by the metal sleeves 2 and 3 . The sealing plug 10 is sheathed on the outer surface of the metal straight tube 5 between the electrode body 11 and the terminal post 20 .

Abstract

A bipolar resectoscope has a handle assembly and an electrode assembly. The electrode assembly comprises an electrode main body 11, a sealing plug 10, an electrical connector post 20 and a double-core wire 12. A proximal end of the electrode main body is connected with the double-core wire through the connector post. The sealing plug contains a first hole (101, figure 8) for the passage of an endoscope and a second, smaller hole (102) for the passage of the electrode main body; it isolates the handle from fluids in the resectoscope. Preferably, the proximal surface of the sealing plug is planar for engagement with the handle assembly, whilst the distal surface is tapered to match a taper on the proximal end of an inner sheath (131, figure 9). The connector post may have a cylindrical inner body (21, figure 5) and an outer jacket (22) having two opposing flat surfaces. The flats allow the post to be inserted into a concave slot (141, figure 12) in a sliding block in the handle assembly. The jacket can then be rotated through 90° to secure the connector post.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of medical devices, in particular to a resectoscope with a novel sealing structure used in a resectoscope for minimally invasive surgery. Background technique [0002] Prostatic hypertrophy and hyperplasia are common diseases with a high incidence rate in middle-aged and elderly men, and surgical resection is the most effective treatment. The traditional open surgery is to make an incision in the patient's lower abdomen, and then cut the bladder to take out the prostate, which will cause great damage to the normal physiological structure of the urethra. Moreover, most of the benign prostatic hyperplasia is the elderly, they are often accompanied by other serious diseases, and it is difficult to tolerate the trauma caused by open surgery. Pay attention to. Transurethral resectoscope resection of the prostate was invented in developed countries in Europe and the United States. Since this operation does not r...
