Abstract

The present invention discloses a draft-based three-dimensional model retrieval viewpoint selection method, comprising the following steps of step 1, manually classifying models in a database; step 2, determining a universal set of viewpoints by performing triangle subdivision on an icosahedron; step 3, calculating the entropy value of each model at each viewpoint; step 4, according to a calculation result in the step 3, determining the number of the viewpoints of each type of model; step 5, according to a calculation result in the step 4, performing a clustering operation on the universal set of the viewpoints so as to determine a selected viewpoint; and step 6, according to the viewpoint generated in the step 5, generating a two-dimensional projection view.
