Abstract

The invention provides a traditional Chinese medicine composition for preventing and treating honeybee microsporidiosis. The traditional Chinese medicine composition comprises polygonum cuspidatum and szechwan chinaberry fruit aqueous extract products according to a volume ratio of 1: 1. The traditional Chinese medicine composition and sugar syrup with a concentration of 60-70% by mass are processed to form medicine-containing syrup with a concentration of 4-13% according to a certain volume ratio, and the medicine-containing syrup is freely eaten by honeybees suffered from honeybee microsporidiosis. Through action on honeybees and microsporidia, the traditional Chinese medicine composition can prevent and treat honeybee microsporidiosis. The traditional Chinese medicine composition reduces toxicity of szechwan chinaberry fruit in a single agent, has parasite expelling effects of szechwan chinaberry fruit and anti-inflammation and detumescence effects of polygonum cuspidatum and has basically no toxicity. The traditional Chinese medicine composition utilizes easily available medical raw materials with a wide source, can be prepared simply and has a low cost. The traditional Chinese medicine composition does not produce drug residue on honeybee products and the environment and does not pollute human and animals and the environment.
