The method includes: beginning to collect eggs from September to February in the next year, standing egg masses over the surface of saline solution by 3-15mm without contacting with the saline solution, and keeping the temperature at 22 DEG C for hatching; transferring hatched mantis larvae into net cages for culture, feeding the mantises with special larvae feed twice a day in the morning and in the evening respectively, and keeping a feed intake area not being in shortage of feed; if the three-week-old mantises are large in appetite, feeding the mantises with special mantis adult feed twice a day in the morning and in the evening respectively, keeping the feed intake area not being in shortage of feed till the mantises grow into adults.
