Abstract

The invention discloses a method for realizing sight tracking based on iris features. The method comprises the steps of firstly extracting internal texture features of an iris, acquiring a rotation vector and a translation vector of a current iris image relative to a reference iris image through matching features points in the current iris image and features points in the reference iris image, calculating the sight direction of a current frame through being combined with the current frame with the size of the iris in the reference iris image, the distance between reference iris center and an optical center of a camera and the sight direction of a reference iris plane, and finally acquiring a sight line according to features of the sight when passing through the iris center of the current frame. The method disclosed by the invention has the advantages that accurate iris feature points are acquired relatively easily by image processing; hardware requirements are simple, and only one camera is required to shoot the iris features; head movements do not affect sight tracking results; and algorithm requirements can be met by at least one calibration point, and the calibration process is simple and easy to implement.
