The method includes logging a server to acquire the ID of a user logging through a client and the passwords and channel lists of the the default group of the user, and transmitting a live streaming server for caching; logging the server to receive a channel list requiring request transmitted from the client, and returning the channel lists containing all channel playing addresses and default group passwords; allowing the live streaming server to transmit a watching request containing the default group passwords and playing address of the selected watching channel, when the user is determined to have the using permission according to the user's ID and the default group passwords, providing video resources of the selected watching channel to the client. By the aid of the method, different users can be controlled to use the video resources of different channels according to the permissions, a user without permissions is not allowed to use the video resources, and using management of the video resources is benefited.
