The LIN communication scheduling setting method includes: setting a communication period of every node in an LIN network to be a variable on a host node of the LIN network and configuring a diagnosis configuration service on the host node; modifying the communication period of every node by the diagnosis configuration service when a scheduling period of LIN communication scheduling needs to be modified; acquiring the modified scheduling period of the LIN communication scheduling according to the modified communication period of every node, so that the host node can perform scheduling according to the modified scheduling period. The LIN communication schedule setting method has the advantages of more simplicity and easiness in scheduling period modifying process, no requirement for frequent code modifying and prevention of large amount of repeated work.
