An embodiment of the invention discloses a data transmission method, a server and user equipment. The method comprises that the server sends a first connection identifier to the user equipment after a first connection between the server and the user equipment is established, wherein the first connection identifier is used for identifying the first connection; the server receives requirement information for establishing transmission control protocol (TCP) connection, which is sent by the user equipment, wherein the TCP connection requirement information is used for requiring for establishing a second connection between the user equipment and the server, the second connection is the TCP connection, and the TCP connection requirement information carries the first connection identifier; the server establishes the second connection after receiving the TCP connection requirement information according to the first connection identifier; the server performs data transmission between the user equipment through the second connection.
