The overall efficiency optimization control method of the IGCC power station with the hot end component as the core includes: starting a power island, enabling a combustion gas turbine to drive a waste heat boiler to generate steam through starting fuel, and tracing heat of an overall gasification island and an overall purification island through the steam; starting the gasification island, monitoring and analyzing heat value and constituents of synthesis gas prepared by the gasification island through online constituents and an online heat value monitoring system in real time, and switching fuel used by the combustion gas turbine from the starting fuel into high heat value synthesis gas fuel when reaching high heat value synthesis gas use conditions of the combustion gas turbine under low loading conditions; adjusting the fuel of the combustion gas turbine and work status of the gasification island. The overall efficiency optimization control method of the IGCC power station with the hot end component as the core effectively improves overall efficiency of the power station, prolongs use life of the combustion gas turbine, reduces running cost of the power station, shortens starting time of the power station, reduces pollutant emission, and really achieves IGCC control.
