The transformer body holddown partially comprises a web arranged on a transformer core, and further comprises a plurality of holddown mechanisms which are arranged at intervals along the length direction of the web, and each holddown mechanism consists of a connecting part, a laminating block and a bolt; each connecting part is arranged in parallel over holddown plates on the top of a transformer body, moreover, one end of each connecting part is fixed on the web, and each connecting part is provided with a threaded hole; both ends of each laminating block respectively abut against the corresponding connecting part and the holddown plates, and the top end of each laminating block is provided with a positioning hole corresponding to the corresponding threaded hole; each bolt is fitted in the corresponding threaded hole, and the end of each bolt extends into the corresponding positioning hole. As each holddown mechanism only consists of three parts, compared with the structure of the conventional pressure bolt structure with five parts, the structure is simpler, consequently, the efficiency of production is increased greatly, and cost is reduced; each laminating block is made of insulating material, thus reducing main insulation distance and decreasing the discharge probability of windings and leads.
