The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a deformation amount specific to flat plate blanks formed by means of repeated electromagnetic forming, and selecting matched electromagnetic forming coils according to the deformation amount; acquiring the skin depths of the electromagnetic forming coils according to the electrical conductivities of plates to be formed, the discharge frequency of electromagnetic equipment and vacuum permeability; acquiring the parameter ranges of the electromagnetic forming coils according to the skin depths; selecting the structural parameters of multiple groups of electromagnetic forming coils within the parameter range by adopting a control variable method; performing deformation simulation on the multiple groups of electromagnetic forming coils and matched plates respectively, selecting an optimal structural parameter according to plate deformation results, and obtaining the electromagnetic forming coil according to the optimal structural parameter.
