Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a device for assisting in determining a project scope. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a plurality of demands, a dependence relation among the demands and demand constraints; generating a first grouping scheme according to the dependence relation among the demands, wherein the demands are divided into one or more than one group, and the demands with the dependence relation are put in the same group; receiving relation constraints defined by a user; upon the first grouping scheme, generating a set of candidate grouping schemes satisfying the relation constraints defined by the user, wherein the set of the candidate grouping schemes comprises one or more than one group of each of the candidate grouping schemes; according to the demand constraints, calculating the combination index of each candidate grouping scheme in the set of the candidate grouping schemes; displaying the candidate grouping schemes in the set of the candidate grouping schemes and the corresponding combination indexes.
