Embodiment Construction

[0068] figure 1 It is a system model of bistatic MIMO radar. M transmitting array elements transmit signals to illuminate the target at the same time, and the echo signals are comprehensively processed by N receiving array elements at the receiving end.

[0069] The N receiving array elements at the receiving end of the MIMO radar collect and process the echo data signals obtained by multiple snapshots. When there is a target in the radar detection area, the echo data during the first snapshot can be written as an N×K matrix:

[0070] X ( l ) = a r ( φ ) β ( l ) a t H ( θ ) S + Z (...

Abstract

The invention provides an MIMO radar target blind detection method based on characteristic values under a correlated noise background. The method is suitable for large-array bistatic MIMO radar with the receiving and transmitting number of array elements and the snapshot number being close. The method comprises the steps that a random matrix theory is used as a tool, the defects that in the prior art, the snapshot number is insufficient and the target detection performance under the correlated noise background is lowered are overcome, and a random matrix model of observation data is established by echo signals under the correlated noise background; the ratio of the maximum characteristic value and the minimum characteristic value of an echo data covariance matrix is calculated to be used as the detection statistical magnitude; the freedom probability theory and Stieltjes conversion are used for deriving a threshold value expression of target detection under the correlated noise background; the threshold value is used as a judgment threshold for detecting a target. Simulation experiments show that the method is suitable for blind detection under the condition that a noise variance and a target scattering matrix are unknown, and the robustness of target detection under the correlated noise environment is obviously improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of MIMO radar target detection; relates to a large-array MIMO radar system with the number of transmitting and receiving array elements close to the number of snapshots; relates to the target detection of bistatic MIMO radar under the background of correlated noise; especially relates to the unknown situation of noise variance and target scattering matrix Blind detection of targets under MIMO radar. Background technique [0002] The original meaning of radar is "radio detection and ranging", that is, to use radio methods to find targets and determine their spatial positions; MIMO radar is a new system radar proposed in recent years, which consists of multiple transmitting arrays and multiple receiving arrays , multiple transmitting antennas are used to simultaneously transmit mutually orthogonal signals to irradiate the target, and then multiple receiving antennas are used to receive target echo signals, which signifi...
