Abstract

The antenna holder drives three liner drivers through three servo motors. Two ends of every linear driver are hinged to upper and lower platforms through universal joints; the upper and lower platforms are both equilateral triangles at same positions; rotation axes of two universal joints of a three-branch connection prismatic pair are mutually orthogonal and connected to vertexes of two triangles respectively; rotation axes of the three universal joints connected with the lower platform are coplanar and concurrent; rotation axes of the three universal joints connected with the upper platform are concurrent but non-coplanar; the 3-UPU two-to-one parallel mechanism antenna structure system is formed. The system allows 'crossing-top' continuous tracking for an antenna, an operation spatial direction of arrival is 0 degrees to 360 degrees, and continuous tracking with any attitudes at a pitching angle of less than +/-90 degrees (the pitching angle is 0 degree when the antenna faces up) is achieved.
