The image processing device comprises a deformation field calculation unit, a deformation field weighting unit and an image deformation unit. The deformation field calculation unit can calculate a deformation field of a second image of an object relative to a reference image based on non-rigid registration with a first image of the object as the reference image. The deformation field weighting unit can weight the deformation field according to the motion intensities of parts of the object. The image deformation unit can deform the second image by use of the weighted deformation field to obtain a third image.
