Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: determining the recommended carrier frequency range (fcmin, fcmax) of a component of a frequency converter; determining the maximum energy efficiency carrier frequency fci corresponding to the running frequency fi of an air conditioner performance testing point compressor according to the range (fcmin, fcmax); determining the lowest noise and maximum energy efficiency carrier frequencies from fc1 and fc2 to fcn respectively corresponding to the running frequencies from f1 and f2 to fn according to the recommended carrier frequency range (fcmin, fcmax) and the running frequencies from f1 and f2 to fn at which the selected compressor possibly run, wherein if the running frequency fr of the compressor is not larger than fi, the carrier frequency is fci; if the fr is equal to f1, the carrier frequency is fc1; if the fr is larger than fi and smaller than f1, the carrier frequency is linearly varied between the fci and fc1, and so on.
