Problems solved by technology

[0004] Aiming at the problem that the current existing measurement methods cannot meet the on-line rapid measurement, the present invention proposes to use LIBS technology to measure the carbon content in steel; in order to overcome the problem of insufficient precision and accuracy of LIBS technology in carbon content detection, the present invention proposes In order to use the carbon atomic line and the carbon two (C 2 ) molecular spectral line with two kinds of spectral line information, compared with the conventional LIBS that only uses the carbon atomic spectral line information, it greatly improves the precision and accuracy of the measurement

Embodiment

[0032] 1) Table 1 lists 13 steel samples with known carbon content Z. In this example, the first 10 steel samples are selected as calibration samples, that is, n is equal to 10, and the other three are used as prediction samples. 13 kinds of iron and steel samples were tested using the laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy measurement system: such as figure 1 As shown, the pulsed laser 1 is used as the excitation light source, the laser emitted from the laser is focused by the focusing lens 2 and then acts on the surface of the sample 3, plasma is generated at the focal point, and the radiated optical signal generated by the plasma is collected in real time through the focusing lens 4 , through the optical fiber 5 and processed by the spectrometer 6, it is converted into an electrical signal and collected by the computer 7 to obtain the spectrum of the sample; one spectrum is obtained for each sample; for 10 calibration samples, 10 spectra are obtained in total; the other three ...

Abstract

A method to quickly measure the carbon content in steel based on laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) technology. First, a group of steel samples with known carbon content are selected as calibration samples. For each calibration sample, use the LIBS system to obtain its spectrum, and calculate the intensity of the carbon atom line and the intensity of the carbon two (C2) molecule line band from the spectrum. Using the carbon content as the dependent variable and the intensity of the carbon atom spectral line and the intensity of the C2 molecular spectral line band as independent variables, the calibration model is obtained by fitting. For the steel sample to be tested with unknown carbon content, first use the LIBS system to obtain its spectrum, and find the intensity of the carbon atomic spectral line and the intensity of the C2 molecular spectral line band in the spectrum of the steel sample to be tested, and then substitute it into the calibration model, that is The carbon content in the steel sample to be measured can be obtained. This method can significantly improve the accuracy of carbon content detection in steel.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for quickly measuring the content of carbon elements in steel and belongs to the field of laser induced breakdown spectroscopy (Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy, LIBS). The basic principle of the method of the present invention is to use LIBS to measure the carbon content in iron and steel. When selecting spectral lines, not only the characteristic spectral lines of carbon atoms have been selected, but also the C 2 The spectral bands of the molecules are used as the spectral lines for the analysis. The use of LIBS to measure carbon content in steel has the advantages of fast speed and no pretreatment of samples, which is convenient for on-site online measurement. Select both the carbon line and the C 2 The molecular spectral line band is used for analysis, which can more accurately reflect the relationship between the carbon content and the spectral signal, and greatly improve the measurement accuracy and accuracy....
