Abstract

The invention, which relates to the communication field, discloses a configuration method of a web camera and a web camera. With the method and the equipment, the wireless connection configuration mode of the web camera becomes concise. The configuration method comprises: a web camera receives wireless router parameters sent by a wireless terminal, wherein the wireless router parameters include an identifier and an access password of the wireless router; a connecting request is sent to the wireless router, wherein the connecting request includes the wireless router parameters; and a connection success message sent by the wireless router is received to complete connection with the wireless router. According to the invention, the configuration method and the web camera are mainly used for wireless network connection.
