Abstract

The invention discloses a lossless rapid method for discriminating true and false cigarettes by applying infrared spectroscopy technology. The method comprises: establishing a true cigarette standard infrared spectroscopy database and setting QC value thresholds; performing scan test on different discrimination points of cigarette materials used by a to-be-tested cigarette sample by infrared spectroscopy so as to obtain the infrared spectroscopy data of each discrimination point; retrieving corresponding true cigarette infrared spectroscopy data from the true cigarette standard infrared spectroscopy database, and calculating the QC value of each discrimination point between the two data; and deciding that the target sample is false cigarette if the QC value of any one discrimination point of the to-be-tested cigarette is lower than the set threshold, or else, deciding that the target sample is true cigarette. By employing the discrimination method provided by the invention, the cigarette sample is not damaged after detection and can be reused; the test time of each discrimination point is about 1 min, and consequently each cigarette sample can be detected in 8-10 min; and also the method is strong in specialization property and high in accuracy.
