The method comprises the steps that power grid data are collected in real time and are stored in a distributed database; when a client side wants to retrieve a historical scene, the client side sends a retrieval request; according to the retrieval request, a virtual machine is built and started; according to the retrieval request, the foundational operating environment of an application system is configured for the virtual machine; according to the retrieval request, the needed power grid data are loaded into the built virtual machine through the distributed database, and a corresponding power grid historical scene is generated; the information loaded by the historical scene and corresponding client side configuration information are fed back to the client side; the client side carries out configuration according to the received client side configuration information, and further generates the corresponding historical scene in a server by having access to the historical scene through a hyperlink mode.
