Abstract

The invention relates to a pesticide composition containing cycloxaprid and chlorfenapyr, relating to the field of agricultural insecticide techniques and particularly relates to a dualistically-compounded composition having the insecticidal activity and containing active components including the cycloxaprid and the chlorfenapyr and a use method of the composition. The pesticide composition is characterized by comprising the active components including the cycloxaprid and the chlorfenapyr, wherein the weight ratio of the cycloxaprid to the chlorfenapyr is (50:1)-(1:50). According to the pesticide composition which contains the cycloxaprid and the chlorfenapyr and is used for being applied to plants or growth environments of the plants, and a method for preventing or controlling pests by applying the pesticide composition, the composition having the insecticidal activity has a synergistic insecticidal action. The method for protecting the plants comprises the step of contacting the plants with the composition having the insecticidal activity.
