Abstract

The invention relates to the field of power technologies, and particularly to a partial discharge detection device and method of a power cable terminal. The device is composed of a partial discharge sampling lower computer and a partial discharge analyzing upper computer which are connected through wireless signals. If a partial discharge is analyzed by the IPCs to be a dangerous discharge which can lead to power cable breakdown, the partial discharge detection device of the power cable terminal can pop up a warning prompt to inform that a serious fault of the cable occurs; is the partial discharge is determined to be a potentially-dangerous discharge which cannot lead to power cable breakdown, the device pops up a warning prompt to inform that potential danger fault of the cable occurs, so that partial discharge detection and warning of the power cable can be achieved. According to the partial discharge detection device and method of the power cable terminal, an electric field sensor and a magnetic field sensor are simple in structure and easy to operate and can work normally under severe external interference; meanwhile, a power transmission line high-potential energy-gaining power source which is low in energy consumption and stable in power supply is utilized, so that not only energy is source saving achieved, but also the stability of the whole device is improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention specifically relates to a device and method for detecting partial discharge at a power cable terminal, and the invention relates to the field of electric power technology. Background technique [0002] The cable terminal is an important part of the cable, and it is necessary to monitor its insulation state. Most of the insulation faults of power cables come from the faults of cable terminals. According to relevant statistics, faults induced by internal insulation defects of cable accessories account for 39% of the total accidents. However, there is no good method for partial discharge detection at cable terminals. Collecting partial discharge signals through capacitive or electromagnetic coupling sensors installed on the metal shielding layer of the cable terminal has the following shortcomings: (1) There are many sources of external strong electromagnetic field interference; (2) Lack of partial discharge signal feature recognition techn...
