The method comprises the following steps of searching for the version number of a vehicle-mounted terminal and judging whether the current version of the vehicle-mounted terminal is required to be upgraded or not; if so, sending an upgrading request to the vehicle-mounted terminal; and after receiving a response message allowing receiving an upgrading packet fed back by the vehicle-mounted terminal, sending the upgrading packet to the vehicle-mounted terminal through a mobile communication network.
