Abstract

The invention discloses a tooth surface demineralization detection device utilizing polarization for imaging. The device comprises a light source and a lighting system, wherein the light source is used for providing visible light, the lighting system and a first line polarizing film are orderly arranged in a projection light direction of the light source, and an acute angle is formed between an optical axis direction of the light source, the lighting system and the first line polarizing film and a normal of a to-be-tested tooth surface, a second line polarizing film, an imaging system, and an area array photoelectric detector are orderly arranged in the normal direction of the tooth surface, the imaging system is used for guaranteeing that the tooth surface and a receiving surface of the area array photoelectric detector are on in conjugation imaging, the second line polarizing film is arranged between the tooth and the imaging system, and a rotatable controller is connected with the second line polarizing film and is used for controlling the rotation of the second line polarizing film; and the area array photoelectric detector is used for transmitting an obtained image to a main processor. The detection device disclosed by the invention is used for detecting the tooth surface demineralization state by using the polarization imaging, and has the advantages of accuracy, non-contact, visualization and the like.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of stomatology imaging, in particular to a device for detecting demineralization of tooth surfaces by using polarization imaging. Background technique [0002] The enamel covering the tooth surface is mainly composed of inorganic substances, and is in a dynamic balance of demineralization and remineralization under normal circumstances. However, when the tooth tissue is in an acidic environment for a long time, the rate of demineralization is greater than the rate of remineralization, and the dynamic balance suffers. To damage, minerals are lost, leading to the invasion of oral bacteria, causing dental caries. The enamel of the lesion loses its original translucent luster and becomes chalky. Therefore, the detection of demineralization on the tooth tissue surface is the key to the prevention of dental caries. The traditional method of dental health detection is inspection, which depends on the personal exp...
