Problems solved by technology

Different boards in a distributed system need to detect each other's status. Currently, different boards in the system often transmit heartbeat messages through the bus or send HELLO messages between software. Such methods have poor feedback timeliness and cannot be timely and effective. Feedback on the working status of each board, especially in the case where fast protection switching is required

Embodiment 1

[0030] Please refer to figure 1 , the distributed system status detection methods provided in this example include:

[0031] The tested single board sends an OAM detection message to the detection single board according to a preset frequency, and the OAM detection message includes the working attribute information of the tested single board itself;

[0032] The detection single board receives the OAM detection message sent by the single board under test, and generates a detection report for reflecting the current status of each single board under test according to the work attribute information contained in the received OAM detection message.

[0033] In this example, the preset frequency for the board to send OAM can be selected according to the actual situation, for example, according to the different requirements of different systems. In a distributed PTN system that supports the OAM protocol of MPLS-TP 1371, the preset frequency can be set An OAM detection packet is sent ...

Embodiment 2

[0050] In order to better understand the present invention, in this example, a specific distributed system is taken as an example to further illustrate the present invention:

[0051] See Figure 4 , the distributed system in this example is as Figure 4 As shown, in the distributed PTN system, the OAM standard protocol of MPLS-TP 1371 is supported, and the protection switching between the system boards is completed by the main control board, which needs to know the status of the processing board. The control board is a detection board. Each processing board is a board under test. The switching unit of the main control board is implemented by a network processor. By default, after initialization, the processing board sends an OAM detection message to the main control board, and the network processor of the main control board forwards the OAM detection message to the processing unit FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array, on-site Programmable gate array), the main control boar...

Abstract

The invention discloses a state detecting method of a distributed system and the distributed system. The state detecting method of the distributed system includes that an OAM (Operation Administration and Maintenance) detecting message is sent to detecting single boards according to the preset frequency through detected single boards and the sent OAM detecting message contains self-working attribute information of the detected single boards; the detecting single boards receive the OAM detecting message which is sent from the detected single boards; a detecting report which is used for reflecting the current state of every detected single board is generated according to working attribute information which is contained in the received OAM detecting message; namely an OAM function of the system is utilized to send the OAM detecting message among different single boards in the system to report the working attribute information of every detected single board; and then the current state of every detected single board is obtained according to the current working attribute information of every detected single board; so that rapid detection among the different single boards in the system is achieved, the achievement is simple, the costs are low, the detection efficiency of the state of the single boards is improved, and the requirements for rapid protection and switching of the system are met under the condition that system improvement is not performed.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the communication field, in particular to a distributed system state detection method and a distributed system. Background technique [0002] With the rapid growth of data communication, the network has higher and higher requirements on the processing power and capacity of equipment, and the application of distributed architecture in various equipment is becoming more and more extensive. MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching, Multi-Protocol Label Switching) ) technology is increasingly becoming the core technology of data communication. [0003] As MPLS technology has been widely deployed by operators, in order to improve the manageability of operator networks, it becomes a basic requirement to provide OAM (Operation Administration and Maintenance) functions. The related standards of OAM standardize the technology of MPLS OAM and at the same time propose some necessary functions of OAM. [0004] At the same time, in order to m...
