Abstract

The invention provides an engine cooling inclined hole detection tool which comprises a measuring stick and an angular gauge block. The measuring stick and the angular gauge block are movably connected in a detachable mode. The measuring stick comprises an inclined hole go end detection segment and an inclined hole not-go end detection segment. The diameters of the inclined hole go end detection segment and the inclined hole not-go end detection segment are respectively equal to a machining upper limit value and a machining lower limit value of the hole diameter of the engine cooling inclined hole. A first inclined plane and a second inclined plane are arranged on the angular gauge block. After the measuring stick and the angular gauge block are connected, included angles between the first inclined plane and the measuring stick and between the second inclined plane and the measuring stick are respectively equal to dip angles of two cooling inclined holes in a cylinder body. Meanwhile, further provided is a detection method and the method is based on the engine cooling inclined hole detection tool.
