Abstract

The invention relates to a compound oral liquid, in particular to traditional Chinese medicine oral liquid for treating mumps. The oral liquid disclosed by the invention comprises the following components in proportion: 16% of herba verbenae, 10% of herba taraxaci, 10% of radix isatidis, 8% of spica prunellae, 8% of radix glycyrrhizae, 6% of rhizoma curcumae longae, 2% of astragaloside and 40% of maltose. A method for preparing the compound oral liquid comprises the following steps: ultrafinely grinding the seven kinds of traditional Chinese medicine of which the total weight is 120g, and then stirring and mixing; adding 800-1000 milliliters of water; boiling via big fire, and decocting via small fire for half an hour; filtering the medicine liquid when about two cups of decoction is remained; and adding 80g of maltose, and then uniformly stirring. The compound oral liquid is taken by children at normal temperature two times every day for one cup each time and is continuously taken for 3-7 days; and the patients are required for doing not eat spicy food, eating little meat, eating more vegetables and taking more exercises during the period of taking the oral liquid.
