Abstract

A method for harmless treatment of incineration fly ash and a composite structure made thereof are provided. The treatment method comprises firstly sieving and drying incineration fly ash to obtain a powder fly ash component with a moisture content lower than or equal to 0.5 wt%; then adding, in the fly ash component, poly(ethylene terephthalate) plastics which have a grain diameter smaller than or equal to 1 mm and are already subjected to drying treatment, so as to obtain an admixture; and performing hot-press molding of the admixture which then is made into a composite structure wrapping the incineration fly ash. The fly ash can be tightly wrapped in the structure, by mixing the poly(ethylene terephthalate) plastics in the fly ash and performing hot-press molding to form the specific structure. In addition to reduction of the waste amount of the fly ash and the pollution of air and dust, heavy metal or toxic components in the fly ash are effectively prevented from being released, thereby satisfying the environmental protection demand and also achieving the practical values.
