The method comprises steps of preprocessing load parameters and classifying nodes; identifying load model parameter vectors in a distribution network; and processing load model parameter vectors optimally. By the aid of the method and the system, the cluster and the generalization of a main variable load model can be achieved, and the load model identification which is subjected to polymerization based on different voltage levels and outlets can be achieved. The method and the system are suitable to electricity distribution networks such as city distribution networks, oil field distribution networks and rural distribution networks.
