The environment isolator comprises the gas curtain device which comprises a rigid tube and a gas supply device. A gas inlet and a gas outlet are arranged at two ends of the rigid tube, the gas supply device is connected with a gas inlet of the rigid tube, and a plurality of pores which are evenly distributed are arranged on the lower side wall of the rigid tube. The gas curtain device is mounted inside a box of the laser system and is used for producing a gas curtain parallel to the front box wall on one side closed to the front box wall. The invention further provides a corresponding environment isolating method.
