Abstract

The invention provides a PTFE cylinder type plate membrane distiller. The plate membrane distiller comprises a chlorinated poly vinyl chloride (CPVC) membrane cylinder and combined filter elements. The combined filter elements are placed in the CPVC membrane cylinder and two ends of central air suction pipes of the combined filter elements penetrate through the CPVC membrane cylinder. Multiple groups of high-porosity PTFE hydrophobic membranes and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) fiber woven flat screens are combined to form circular plate vacuum membrane components. Each of the circular plate vacuum membrane components is connected in series by one of the central air suction pipes to form one of the combined filter element. A liquid inlet is arranged at the lower end of the CPVC membrane cylinder, and a liquid outlet is arranged at the upper end. Processed liquid materials are fed through the liquid inlet, submerge the combined filter element completely when penetrating through the circular plate vacuum membrane components, and are discharged through the liquid outlet to form circulation flow. Vapor of the PED fiber woven flat screens is suctioned out through holes in the central air suction pipes and subsequently condensed to form product water.
