Abstract

The invention provides a file previewing method based on Hadoop distribution type. The file previewing method comprises the following steps of: step 1), storing a source file in a Hadoop distribution type file system; step 2), converting the source file stored in the Hadoop distribution type file system into an SWF (Small Web Format) file and a text file; step 3), carrying out index extraction on the text file and establishing index; and step 4), reading the SWF file needing to be previewed and displayed from the Hadoop distribution type storage according to the index so as to carry out playing. The invention also provides a file previewing system based on Hadoop distribution type. By the file previewing method and the system provided by the invention, the timeliness for simultaneous conversion processing of large and multiple files is obviously improved, and the conversion processing capability and the index searching capability of the mass files as well as the smoothness of played and previewed files are enhanced.
