Abstract

The invention discloses a method for increasing the infection ability of insecticidal fungi by utilizing a plant source extract. Aiming at the problem that the infectivity of Paecilomyces fumosoroseus on the major pest, namely Bemisia tabaci, is not high overall, the Bemisia tabaci is treated by utilizing a hairyvein agrimony ethanol extract together with the Paecilomyces fumosoroseus, so that the infection rate of the Paecilomyces fumosoroseus on the Bemisia tabaci can be obviously increased, and the pest control ability of fungus is increased. Compared with the traditional pest biological prevention and control by singly using the Paecilomyces fumosoroseus, the method disclosed by the invention takes the major pest, namely the Bemisia tabaci, as the target object; and the infectivity of the Paecilomyces fumosoroseus is increased by utilizing the hairyvein agrimony ethanol extract, so that the pest control ability is increased. The method disclosed by the invention not only has obvious synergistic effect but also has high safety, is capable of feasibly increasing the biological prevention and control level of the major pest, and has a certain application prospect.

Description

1. Technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of pest biological control, and in particular relates to a method for improving the infectivity of Paecilomyces fumigatus to whitefly by using the ethanol extract of Agrimony. 2. Technical background [0002] Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius) (Homoptera: Aleyrodidae) is a polyphagous piercing-sucking pest distributed all over the world. Adult nymphs of Bemisia tabaci not only suck plant juice to cause direct damage, but also spread a variety of plant virus diseases to cause greater indirect damage, which brings huge economic losses to agricultural production. For a long time, how to effectively and safely control Bemisia tabaci has been a worldwide problem. [0003] As an entomopathogenic fungus, Paecilomyces fumosoroseus can parasitize a variety of insects. It is an important pathogenic fungus for vegetable pests such as aphids and whiteflies, as well as fruit tree and tea tree pests. Paecilomyces fumigatus h...
