Abstract

The invention discloses a method for promoting germination of sophora moorcroftiana seeds. The method for promoting the germination of the sophora moorcroftiana seeds comprises the following steps of: (1) soaking the sophora moorcroftiana seeds for 3 to 4 days at a variable temperature to obtain swollen sophora moorcroftiana seeds, namely soaking the sophora moorcroftiana seeds into water of which initial temperature is between 50 and 100 DEG C, naturally cooling the water to room temperature, taking out the swollen seeds every day and changing the water of which initial temperature is between 50 and 100 DEG C once; and (2) accelerating germination of the swollen sophora moorcroftiana seeds obtained in the step (1) at the temperature of between 20 and 30 DEG C, under the dark and wet conditions and for 3 to 5 days, and thus obtaining germinated sophora moorcroftiana seeds. By using the method for promoting the germination of the sophora moorcroftiana seeds of different quality, the germination rate of the sophora moorcroftiana seeds of different quality can be improved by 20 to 95 percent, the emergence rate is improved by 10 to 78 percent, and the seedling forming time is shortened for more than one month. The invention can provide a key technology of centralized seed germination for industrial seedling culture of sophora moorcroftiana.
