Abstract

The present invention relates to an integrated system and method for national citizenship management and e-government, the so-called CimeGo. The system serves as a national electronic central database for all citizens, called the National Registry (NR) or Central Database (CDR) (containing An underlying platform for all relevant data, including biometric information in a uniquely designed format and regularly updated) (and separate from those of non-citizens), with the help of a scientifically extracted identity reference that each citizen is assigned a unique and unique identity reference that is valid for life. Secure smart cards for national level identity management that can be used nationwide and replace all identity cards currently in use. Dedicated Indian Card Centers (ICCs) across the country provide services to quickly complete the citizen registration process, guide the issuance of cards and activate the cards. The data stored on the card chip comes from the National Registry (central database) and is obtained by authorized personnel through card readers located throughout the country. Using the method provided by the invention, the national registry can also serve as the basis for operating modern e-government programs, with a large number of advanced functions, enabling convenient and effective two-way interaction between citizens and governments and other institutions, and is widely used in statutory and non-statutory applications.
