Abstract

The invention discloses a lead-acid storage battery formation charging and discharging method which comprises the step of adopting a charging power supply for converting alternating current of a power grid into direct current to charge storage batteries. The method is designed according to multi-stage process of charging and discharging in formation, and the storage batteries are divided into groups with the number the same as the number of stages in the process. All the groups of storage batteries work in different stages in the process. The battery packs in the discharging stage are used for charging the battery packs in the charging stage. The capacity and energy consumption of power grid equipment, charging equipment and discharging equipment can be reduced. The lead-acid storage battery formation charging and discharging method aims at solving the requirement problem that the voltage and energy of the discharging battery packs are lower than those of the charging battery packs. A power supply is connected on each discharging battery pack in series for compensating the discharging voltage and controlling the discharging current.
