Embodiment 1

[0022] The available chlorine content determination test paper of the present invention is obtained by soaking the chromatographic filter paper in the indicator and then drying it, wherein the weight percentage of the indicator is composed of:

[0023] O-toluidine hydrochloride 1%

[0024] Citric acid 40%

[0025] Sodium Lauryl Sulfate 1%

[0026] Sodium Hydroxyethyl Cellulose 1%

[0027] remaining water.

[0028] The indicator is to add citric acid into water to prepare a citric acid aqueous solution, stir to make it completely dissolved, then add o-toluidine hydrochloride, sodium dodecylsulfonate and sodium hydroxyethyl cellulose into the citric acid aqueous solution, Stir to dissolve completely.

[0029] Soak the chromatographic filter paper in the indicator for 1 min, take it out and dry it in an oven at 50°C. It is then cut into strips and bound into finished products.

Embodiment 2

[0031] The available chlorine content determination test paper of the present invention is obtained by soaking the chromatographic filter paper in the indicator and then drying it, wherein the weight percentage of the indicator is composed of:

[0032] O-toluidine hydrochloride 2%

[0033] Citric acid 45%

[0034] Sodium Lauryl Sulfate 2%

[0035] Sodium Hydroxyethyl Cellulose 2%

[0036] remaining water.

[0037] Others are the same as embodiment 1

Embodiment 3

[0039] The available chlorine content determination test paper of the present invention is obtained by soaking the chromatographic filter paper in the indicator and then drying it, wherein the weight percentage of the indicator is composed of:

[0040] O-toluidine hydrochloride 1%

[0041] Citric acid 40%

[0042] Sodium Lauryl Sulfate 3%

Abstract

The invention relates to test paper for measuring the content of available chlorine, belonging to the technical field of chemical indicators. The test paper is used for detecting the concentration of chemical disinfectants and is beneficial to monitoring the concentration of the disinfectants in the use process in the hospitals and related industries. The test paper is prepared by soaking chromatography filter paper into an indicator and then drying the filter paper, wherein the indicator comprises the following ingredients by weight: 1-3% of o-tolidine hydrochloride, 35-50% of citric acid, 1-3% of sodium dodecyl sulfate, 1-2% of hydroxyethylcellulose and the balance of water; and the indicator is prepared by adding the citric acid to water to prepare citric acid aqueous solution, then adding the o-tolidine hydrochloride, the sodium dodecyl sulfate and the hydroxyethylcellulose to the citric acid aqueous solution and stirring the mixture to totally dissolve the three ingredients. The test paper has the advantages of simpleness and convenience in use and intuitive and accurate results.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a test paper for measuring the content of available chlorine, which belongs to the technical field of chemical indicators and is used for detecting the concentration of chemical disinfectants, which is beneficial to the concentration monitoring of the process of using disinfectants in hospitals and related industries. Background technique [0002] Chlorine-containing disinfectants have been widely used in hospital disinfection and household disinfection in foreign countries in the 1960s, and began to be developed and promoted in my country in the 1980s. This kind of preparation is the disinfection product with rapid development, wide application and largest consumption at home and abroad. However, the available chlorine content of most products is unstable, and the available chlorine content of some products drops by about 35% within a year. Therefore, it is particularly important to detect the available chlorine content in tim...
