The composite post insulator comprises a first composite insulator component, a second composite insulator component, a third composite insulator component and a fourth composite insulator component which are successively connected in series through flanges; each composite insulator component contains a hollow insulation pipe, and an upper flange and a lower flange which are sleeved on the both ends of the hollow insulation pipe; the glass epoxy material is wound to obtain the hollow insulation pipe; the outer umbrella prepared from high temperature vulcanized silicone rubber is formed on the outer wall of the hollow insulation pipe through overall injection; the inner wall of the hollow insulation pipe is provided with an inner umbrella which is an annular glass fibre board; and a silicone rubber layer is covered on the outer surface of the annular glass fibre board.
