Abstract

The invention provides a culturing method of an iodine-rich watermelon. The method comprises the following steps of: (1) culturing a watermelon stock seedling; (2) carrying out seed soaking treatment on a watermelon seed after a stock is sowed for 4-7 days; (3) planting the soaked watermelon seed in a seedling-raising pan and culturing in a greenhouse; (4) grafting a watermelon seedling when the stock seedling is at the stage of one leaf and one core, culturing the grafted seedling in the greenhouse for about 40 days; (5) mixing solid fertilizer containing iodine with farmyard manure before the field planting of the grafted watermelon seedling and applying to the soil in a planting area at one time, and ploughing under to great depth, wherein a N, P and K compound fertilizer is used as a base fertilizer; and (6) after the field planting of the grafted watermelon seedling, spraying and applying liquid iodine fertilizer in different growth periods of the watermelon. With the method, not only the iodine-rich watermelon can be planted directly, but also the iodine content in soil and a biologic chain can be changed, the ecology environment in areas lack of iodine can be vnlrpfalgp changed so as to better prevent the occurrence of iodine deficiency disorders.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of agricultural planting, in particular to a cultivation method of iodine-enriched watermelon. Background technique [0002] Iodine is one of the essential micronutrients for the human body, and is an important component of the thyroid gland that plays an important role in human metabolism. Iodine deficiency in the human body can lead to iodine deficiency disorders (Iodine Deficiency Disorders, IDD). 80% of the iodine in the human body is taken in through food, and severe iodine deficiency in the soil-crop system has led to the widespread prevalence of iodine deficiency diseases. According to the report of the International Iodine Deficiency Disorders Prevention Committee, there are currently 2.2 billion people living in iodine-deficient areas in the world, accounting for about 38% of the global total. All provinces and cities in China have IDD, and the population of wards has reached 425 million, seriously affecting...
