The method for implementing the UPnP equipment comprises the steps of receiving the reset operating command sent by the UPnP control point and determining whether to implement the reset operation according to the operation being implemented by the UPnP equipment. The method for controlling the UPnP equipment comprises the steps of receiving the UPnP event and determining whether to control the UPnP equipment to carry out reset operation according to the UPnP event, wherein the UPnP event comprises the information about whether the UPnP equipment is implementing the update operation.
