Abstract

The invention provides a method for submerging bucket foundation replacing water by gas, comprising the following steps: 1) a seal cover board is arranged on the bucket top of the bucket foundation, and is provided with an air vent and a one-way drain pipe; 2) the air vent and the one-way drain pipe are opened to enable the bucket foundation to submerge and position through self weight until the bucket foundation self weight and soil body resistance are balanced; 3) the bucket foundation is aerated through the air vent to lead water therein to be discharged from the one-way drain pipe; aeration is stopped until gas pressure in the bucket foundation exceeds the barometric pressure; the air vent pipeline is communicated with air, and the bucket foundation continues to submerge under the action of the internal and external pressure difference; and the above steps are repeated until the bucket foundation submerges to the foundation soil surface.
