AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

This patented technology describes an effective way to make durable materials that resist damage from weather conditions such as rainwater. It involves adding special agents called UV protective finishes (UVC) onto chemically treated surfaces made of synthetic polymer resin. These coatings have excellent properties like good adhesion between different types of substrates without causing any harm during use. They can be applied evenly across entire surface areas while maintain their effectiveness against damaging solar rays. Overall, this process allows us to create products with better outdoor qualities than traditional methods alone.

Problems solved by technology

This patents describes various technical problem addressed during manufacturing processes involving exposure to solar lights: how efficiently prevent photoaging caused from happening when these products come outdoors without getting dirty quickly?

Embodiment 1

[0049] Add 15g benzotriazole UV absorber UV-326, 10g benzophenone UV absorber UV-531, 1.5g dispersant M-9, 1.5g dispersant SP-762 and 150g grinding balls into the ball mill , and then add 10g of water to it, and ball mill for 10h at room temperature. After the ball milling, the resulting dispersion was filtered and water was added to constant volume to prepare a broad-band anti-ultraviolet and high light fastness finishing agent containing a total amount of ultraviolet absorber of 25 g / L.

Embodiment 2

[0051] Add 30g benzotriazole ultraviolet absorber UV-327, 20g benzophenone ultraviolet absorber UV-531, 5g defoamer LT-201, 8g dispersant MF, 3g hyperdispersant 619 and 180g of balls were ground, and then 10g of water was added thereto, and ball milled at room temperature for 7h. After the ball milling, the resulting dispersion was filtered and water was added to constant volume to prepare a broad-band anti-ultraviolet and high light fastness finishing agent containing 50 g / L of the total amount of ultraviolet absorbers.

Embodiment 3

[0053] Add 30g benzotriazole UV absorber UV-326, 10g benzophenone UV absorber UV-531, 2.5g defoamer LT-201, 0.4g dispersant SF-1, 2g dispersant to the ball mill agent SP-762 and 100g of balls, and then add 10g of water to it, and ball mill for 4 hours at room temperature. After the ball milling, the resulting dispersion was filtered and water was added to constant volume to prepare a broadband anti-ultraviolet and high light fastness finishing agent containing 40 g / L of the total amount of ultraviolet absorbers.

Abstract

The invention discloses a wideband, uvioresistant and highly lightfast finishing agent as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The uvioresistant and highly lightfast finishing agent consists of a benzotriazole and diphenyl ketone ultraviolet absorbent, a defoaming agent, a dispersing agent and water and is prepared by ball milling or sanding, wherein the total content of the ultraviolet absorbent is from 20 to 50 g/L. The finishing agent is used for dyeing a hydrophobic chemical fiber fabric by adopting a dyeing exhaust process, or is finished on the hydrophobic chemical fiber fabric or a hydrophilic fiber fabric by adopting a pad-bake process, thereby increasing the ultravioresistant performance of the fabrics and enhancing the fastness to sunlight of the dyed fabrics. The finishing agent used for dyeing the hydrophobic chemical fiber fabric has high rate of dye-uptake, simple operation, material saving, low cost, less pollution, and obvious effects on increasing the ultravioresistant performance of the fabrics and the fastness to sunlight of the dyed fabrics. The fastness to sunlight of the fabrics dyed or finished by the finishing agent can be increased by 0.5 to 1.
