Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: (1) placing first pocket cloth (1) on a pocket-demanding part of a garment piece (2) and ensuring that the front face of the first pocket cloth (1) is upward; (2) drawing a shape of the pocket mouth on the front face of the first pocket cloth (1); (3) stitching along a contour line (3) of the drawn shape of the pocket mouth and connecting the first pocket cloth (1) with the garment piece (2); (4) cutting and hollowing along the contour line (3) of the drawn shape of the pocket mouth by means of retraction of 0.2-0.6 cm, and cutting a hole when coming across a corner of the contour line (3); (5) turning the first pocket cloth (1) inside through a hollowed part (4); (6) ironing level the hollowed part (4) and the edge thereof; and (7) stitching second pocket cloth (2) with the first pocket cloth (1) already positioned behind the garment piece (2) to compete making the pocket.
